Lee in a high-stakes playoff to claim his first title of the 2026 season.
The strategic narrative of the day was one of resilience, as DeChambeau birdied two of his final three holes to finish at 14-under par, matching the score of the surging Wild Card entry, Lee. The primary hurdle for the overnight leaders was the intense pressure of the back nine; while Lee Westwood fell back to finish third at 12-under, Niemann’s putter cooled at the critical moment, leaving the door open for the "Crusher" captain to strike.
In the team competition, 4Aces GC completed their historic quest, winning back-to-back titles with a dominant total of 27-under par. Tactically, the Aces were buoyed by Dustin Johnson and Anthony Kim, whose consistent Sunday scoring fended off a late charge from the all-Australian Ripper GC.
Legion XIII rounded out the podium in third place. The victory moves DeChambeau into the upper echelon of the individual standings and reinforces the 4Aces' status as the "mechanical necessity" in the team title race as the league prepares to head to South Africa next week.
