Finishing at 16-under-par for the tournament, the former Ryder Cup star demonstrated remarkable consistency, dropping just a single shot across the entire 54-hole event. Wood ignited his final round with three consecutive birdies, establishing a lead he would refuse to relinquish despite a late charge from the chasing pack.

Scotland’s Aidan O’Hagan provided the stiffest competition, matching Wood’s 67 to finish alone in second place at 15-under. O’Hagan had a chance to force a playoff on the 18th green, but his birdie putt narrowly missed, leaving him one stroke short.

The round of the day belonged to Germany’s Max Schmitt, who fired a course-record 9-under 63—featuring nine birdies and zero bogeys—to vault into solo third at 13-under. Other notable finishes included Dominik Pavoucek, Sebastian Sandin, and Marco Florioli, who shared fourth place at 10-under-par.
