PGA Championship Round 3 Match Detail on SportFeed

World number one Scottie Scheffler showcased immense physical and mental resolve during the third round of the PGA Championship, preserving his position at the summit of the leaderboard after a dramatic moving day battle at Aronimink Golf Club. The American standout displayed superb rhythm with his approach irons, repeatedly attacking difficult pin placements to nullify the charges of his high-profile pursuers.

Scheffler's steady approach kept him clear of the layout's penal rough, anchoring his game plan beautifully as the course began to bake out under the afternoon sun. He remained locked in an intense spotlight battle with co-leader Xander Schauffele, who relied on an exceptional short game and clutch par saves to stay glued to the lead pairing.

Meanwhile, multi-time major champion Brooks Koepka put on an absolute ball-striking exhibition, executing a series of precise approach shots to vault himself straight into the final-round mix. Fellow major champions Collin Morikawa and Jordan Spieth also produced highly efficient rounds of golf, matching each other stroke for stroke down the closing stretch to keep their Wanamaker Trophy dreams alive, while international contenders Stephan Jaeger and Min Woo Lee executed brilliant recoveries on the difficult back nine to safely secure their spots in the chasing pack for Sunday's final showdown.
