United KingdomSeason 2026Round 37
Caroline Dubois solidified her status as the top lightweight in the world by defeating Terri Harper via unanimous decision on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Headlining the first-ever Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) event in the United Kingdom at London’s Olympia, Dubois successfully defended her WBC title while capturing Harper’s WBO belt to become the unified lightweight champion.
The fight was a tactical encounter where Dubois’s speed and southpaw stance eventually overcame Harper’s experience and grit. While some observers noted that both fighters were wary of the other's counter-punching abilities—leading to a measured pace—Dubois consistently did the cleaner work.
The Londoner’s ability to control the range and land the more impactful combinations was the deciding factor, extending her unbeaten record to 13-0.
