Guangdong Open Final Round

Jin Zihao confirmed his status as the dominant force on the China Tour, closing with a professional 1-under-par 70 to secure a comprehensive victory at the 2026 Guangdong Open. Jin’s objective was to manage his lead with composure, and he achieved this by playing bogey-free golf through the first 14 holes.

His four-day total of 12-under-par (272) earned him a convincing three-stroke win, marking remarkably his ninth title on the circuit in just two years. The battle for the runner-up spot was a closely contested affair, with Xu Wang eventually claiming solo second place at 9-under-par after a resilient final-round 69.

The initial leader, Zhang Huilin, struggled to find his early-week rhythm, finishing at 8-under-par to round out the podium. The day was defined by Jin’s relentless consistency under pressure, as he navigated the difficult closing stretch at Genzon without ever letting the field within two strokes.

With this win, Jin further solidifies his lead at the top of the Order of Merit, setting a high bar for the remainder of the 2026 season.
