Chubb Classic Final Round

David Toms secured a dramatic one-shot victory at the 2026 Chubb Classic on Sunday, February 15, 2026, ending a three-year winless drought on the PGA Tour Champions. Toms’ primary objective was to protect his lead, and though he carded a fighting 1-over-par 73, he found the magic when it mattered most.

After seeing his three-shot lead evaporate on the back nine, Toms delivered a clutch birdie on the par-5 18th hole to finish at 13-under-par (203) and claim the $270,000 winner's check. The final round was a showcase of shifting momentum as the chasers relentlessly pressured the leader.

Boo Weekley fired the round of the day, a 5-under-par 67, to surge into a tie for second place at 12-under-par. He was joined on the podium by defending champion Justin Leonard and Michael Wright, both of whom had putts on the 18th to force a playoff.

Local debutant George McNeill and Alex Čejka shared fifth place at 9-under-par, while Bernhard Langer finished the tournament tied for 32nd at 1-under-par. Despite the testing conditions and the narrow margin, Toms’ final-hole heroics ensured his place as the first Florida-swing champion of the 2026 season.
