CFFC 153 Ruiz vs Seibert

With the original headliner cancelled, Lucas "Steel City" Seibert seized the opportunity to shine in the spotlight on Friday night, April 17, 2026. Seibert’s primary objective was to maintain his perfect professional record while capturing the CFFC Interim Bantamweight Championship.

He achieved this through a dominant tactical display against the gritty Sebastian Ruiz, utilizing his superior wrestling and ground-and-pound to dictate the pace of the five-round contest. The co-main event turned main event was a showcase of Seibert's evolution, as he consistently won the grappling exchanges and neutralized Ruiz's striking threats.

Following the unanimous decision victory, Seibert moved to 7-0 and positioned himself for a future title unification bout against reigning champion Sean Mora. Elsewhere on the card, Tyler Berger continued his rapid ascent with a first-round submission victory, and Itso Babulaidze remained undefeated with a hard-fought decision win.

Ben Coyle, the original title challenger, is now expected to compete for an interim flyweight belt in May following Hasan's withdrawal.
