    Arsenal claimed the first silverware of the English domestic season with a dominant 3–0 victory over Manchester City in the 2026 FA Community Shield at Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Riccardo Calafiori set the tone immediately by scoring the fastest goal in Community Shield history, latching onto a through pass from Myles Lewis-Skelly to finish past Gianluigi Donnarumma after just 24 seconds.

    Kai Havertz extended the Gunners' advantage in the 28th minute, converting an assist from Christos Tzolis. Early in the second half, captain Martin Ødegaard sealed the victory in the 48th minute with a composed one-on-one finish to complete a comprehensive performance for Mikel Arteta's side.
